How is the weekend already over?
Why is the weekend only 2 days??
Mondays don’t have to be scary and dreadful.
In fact if they are… you may not be doing something right.
Mondays are a fresh start, a chance to live your life to the fullest and savor every moment.
Come into Monday with fresh eyes.
I love to get up early on Monday mornings to allow time for me to complete my morning routine, and set my weekly intentions while I enjoy my tea.
I treasure this time before my house wakes up, and the craziness of the week ensues.
Coming into my Monday with a clear mind helps me to handle whatever the day throws my way.
If you dread Monday, perhaps take a deeper look into why?
Perhaps your job causes you stress and makes you dread Monday. Consider why?
Where does this stress come from?
Is it the people you work with or for?
Or is it indeed the work itself? If you are not in your dream job, than think what your dream job would look like?
What would you do? Who would you work with?
How would you feel in the mornings before work? Less stress? More happiness and freedom?
Taking a closer look into these realities can be uncomfortable and difficult, but can ultimately lead you to finding freedom and peace.
In order to make your Mondays, and every morning, smoother and less stressful start to work towards this goal of your dream job every day. Do something everyday to help you reach your goal.
If Mondays continue to stress you out, but you are indeed working in your dream job currently; think about how you could restructure your Monday work day to find more peace and ease. Perhaps, move your Monday meetings to later in the day or move them to Tuesday. Take Monday morning to ease back into work, answer emails, return phone calls, and create a plan of action for your day and your week. Setting aside this time first thing on Monday can reduce stress and help you to plan out your week efficiently and effectively.
