Pre-Wedding Workout
/As most of you know I am getting married next week! Crazy! So I have upped my game on and off my mat. I have been attending heated vinyasa flow classes almost daily (I wish my schedule allowed me to go daily), increased cardio, and added some weight training to my regular gym routine. I am feeling great and seeing results!
Some days you have to just listen to your body and see what it needs. What is it craving today? Perhaps one day you trade your yoga class in for a jog on the beach.
I find that scheduling my workouts in advance helps to keep me on track. If I did not put them in my planner, they would never happen -- I would work right through them!
Here is a sneak peek of one of my workouts this week:
Heated Vinyasa - 60 minutes
Gym Workout:
100 squat press-ups with 10 lb. dumbbell
40 lunges on each leg - with pulses
40 curtsy lunges on each leg (amazing!)
2 minute wall squat x 4
This was broken down in 4 sets, and is designed to burn your quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteus! You will feel the benefits the next day...and maybe the day after that as well!
